Question Can you stream 3D movies to the PSVR?

Now that the PSVR allows you to watch 3D Blurays, I was just wondering why cant you stream a 3D movie, say via PLEX to the PSVR? Why does it have to be a physical disc?

I just ordered the Star Wars Rouge One 3D Bluray so I can finally try it. So I guess my questions are...

    - Why can't you stream 3D movies, why do only physical discs work? It be so awesome if you could just d/l a 3D movie and stream it or put it on a USB drive.
    - How is it the 3D, those that have tried 3D Blurays?

This might be of help to you https://blog.eu.playstation.com/2017...-starts-today/

"If you’re a PS VR owner, you can now use your PS4 to play 3D Blu-ray discs and watch them in stereoscopic 3D via your headset.

This is just a taste of the features included in system software 4.50, so make sure to keep an eye out for more information, including launch timing, in the upcoming weeks.

For those taking part in the beta trial, we hope you enjoy trying out these new features and, as always, your feedback is really important to us."

It's pretty good, I found that the medium sized screen option feels the best for me. The small is a bit pointless and the large is just a bit too big (not great when you need to turn your head to look in the corners).

I really hope Sony add some more options for viewing videos. It would be nice to have a cinema style setting.
